Fiona Easterby—Driver

 

A Television Camera Operator for over 15 years, Fiona has worked for Meridian Television, then on the Formula One Grand Prix, before settling into a Studio Camera Operators job at Sky Television where she has been for 8 years now.

 She lives on a 50knot power boat, previously owned by James Bond super villain Stromberg in “The Spy Who Loved Me”

 

She loves: Travelling - highlights include stroking fully grown lions in Zimbabwe and diving on the barrier reef.

Cars—She drives a Sebring SX and a Toyota Sera

And Photography—which combines very well with the travel and motor sport.

Oh and she’s writing a novel and a couple of other books.

Tony Longhurst—mechanic

 

Tony is a long time Vdub nut! Having been around the VW scene for a number of years he started building cars far more seriously. He has built 2 in the last year, with many other people’s cars waiting for restoration & repair. Not bad considering he doesn’t do this full time…..yet! Look out for “Vdubnutz” VW workshop coming soon!

He also has a day job working for a broadcast company so spare time is not always in great abundance, but any spare moments are usually spent under a car somewhere!

At the back of his garage, awaiting restoration, sits his dream car—a Porsche 356….once owned by Sid James! His other interests are Design & Photography which come in very handy when researching & restoring a car.

Claire Murphy—Driver

 

Claire has recently joined the team as Tony is no longer able to take time out for the drive.

Claire lived and worked in Japan for 3 years.

She has a degree in Zoology and spent a year living with and studying Meerkat’s in the Kalahari.

She now works as a Camera Operator for Sky TV and is looking forward to making wildlife documentary’s of her own.
